Mauricio Pochettino opens up on surprise Chelsea exit

• Pochettino left Chelsea at the end of 2023/24 season
• Blues enjoyed upturn in form before surprise departure

Mauricio Pochettino has admitted his surprise departure from Chelsea last summer was a mutual decision.

The current head coach of the US men’s national team endured a rollercoaster year in the Chelsea dugout but inspired an excellent end to the campaign. Which saw them climb away from mid-table obscurity and into the Europa Conference League qualification spots.
